Rafting

Our first class 3 white-water rafting experience...


Everyone seems to be having fun...well almost everyone...

I forgot to post some pictures from Ann and Dave's romantic dinner for two on the beach.

Arrived at The Springs in Arenal late yesterday afternoon.  This place makes the last hotel look like a Holiday Inn Express...

Had a tour of the National Park on Tuesday morning...

Saw a white-tailed deer...actually petted the white-tailed deer...

Saw a sloth or two in the trees...

Was treated to a toucan...

Was FRIGHTENED by this look!

WEDDING DAY

Ann was ambushed....a surprise vow-renewal on the beach of Manuel Antonio....there was a professional photographer so I don't have any pictures of the actual ceremony.

But I do have a picture from the honeymoon morning....LMAO

On the way to the waterfall, we got to see the little green poisonous frog...and no, I wasn't going to hold it.

A little relief from the hot humid jungle conditions...

Afterwards, we go to have lunch on some farm...of course I pet any animal...mange and all

Not too many complaints from Ann and Dave on this morning's ATV tour.  I guess it's similar to their lawnmower at home...

Went on a horseback ride today.  Funny, the city folk (Ray and Michael) did better than the country bumkins (Dave and Ann).  The best part is that in lawless countries, you can run the horse as fast as he will go...and I did...

And the shower is to die for...

After two VERY early morning flights starting in Philadelphia, THIS is the last part of the journey to Costa Rica.   I'M NOT HAPPY!!
